An enamelled disc made for personal and portable possession. The icon comes from Rostov and dates from the last Quarter of the 19th cent. On the reverse the inscription confirms the subject. The disc is positioned within a board recently covered in purple velvet. The frame is also a later addition. Over its 150 years of existence its surface has suffered stress fractures and chipping around the edges. The price reflects the current condition.
