Believed tobe written in the style of the Moscow school, this icon shows Christ sitting in a richly carved throne. Images of this type usually have the open Bible opened at either John 7:24 ” Stop judging by mere appearances and make a right judgement”, or Matthew 7: 24 ” Therefore everyone who hears my words and puts them into practice is like a wise man who build his house on a rock”.
